Any disputes shall be referred to the executive jurisdiction of the English courts, to which both parties submit.

  10. Under no circumstances will work proceed without express written confirmation, approval of the PDF Proof and receipt of full payment.
  11. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988).
  12. The personal information we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

Bespoke personalized stationery

Capital of London will use its experience and expertise to ensure the finished layout is compatible with the end product.

Estimates: - Estimates are based on the Seller's current costs of production and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, are subject to amendment to meet any rise or fall in such costs that have taken place by the time of delivery. Estimates are given inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) but we reserve the right to charge and the client will pay any other tax payable

Proofs: - Capital of London will issue a proof for your approval prior to the printing of your stationery. Capital of London will not accept any responsibility for errors on the proofs that have been approved. If there is no response from you after 30 days of sending out a proof, we will have no choice but to cancel your order charging you for any work that has been completed and any proofs that we have worked on.

Timing: - Orders are normally dispatched within 10 - 15 working days of proof approval. Capital of London will Endeavour to meet quoted delivery dates, but cannot guarantee them and are not responsible for any consequential loss.

Cancelation: - Cancelation will incur the cost of all work completed to the date of the notice of cancelation (which must be received in writing), in addition to a £10 charge per PDF proof. The management's decision on any work done will be final and binding.

Title: - All work remains the property of Capital of London, until it had been paid for in full. Engraved dies and copper plates remain the property of the buyer. Metal, film and other materials owned by you and supplied to us for the production of plates, films and the like shall remain your exclusive property. We reserve the right to reject any materials that our unsuitable for the purpose intended. Additional costs may be incurred if materials supplied by you are found to be unsuitable during production.
Engraved dies and copper plates used for die-stamping, remain your property. Plates for Weddings, invitations, birth announcements or funerals will normally be returned to you with the completion of your order, plates for the printing of personal stationery will be retained at Capital of London for future use as and when requested.

Envelopes: - Where envelopes are included in the order the envelopes will be blind embossed with our company name, on the reverse of the envelope.

Delivery: - Carriage is usually charged extra. We do our best to keep to dates given for delivery or shipment; however, they are not to be treated as conditions of sale. Should expedited delivery be agreed the Seller shall be entitled to make an extra charge to cover any overtime or any other additional costs

Payment: - Payment for any order placed through the website will be made at the time you place your order. Any additional work required of the Seller by reason of the Buyer supplying inadequate copy, incomplete or incorrect instructions or insufficient materials; or late delivery of the same shall be charged.
Should the Work be suspended or delayed by the Buyer for any reason the Seller shall be entitled to charge for storage and for loss of or wastage of resources that cannot otherwise be used. Should the suspension or delay extend beyond 30 days the Seller shall be entitled to immediate payment for work already carried out, materials specially ordered and any other additional costs.

Electronic Files: - It is the Buyer's responsibility to maintain a copy of any original Electronic File provided by the Buyer. The Seller shall not be responsible for checking the accuracy of supplied input from an electronic file unless otherwise agreed in writing. If an electronic file is not suitable for outputting on equipment normally adequate for such purposes without adjustment or other corrective action the Seller may make a charge for any resulting additional cost incurred or may reject the file without prejudice to his rights to payment for work done/material purchased.

 

Refund Policy: - We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on bespoke or personalized items. This policy does not affect your statutory rights. However, if we have made an error fulfilling your order, we will correct or replace the items supplied to you.
Complaints regarding personalized stationery items must be made in writing within seven days of delivery or they will not be considered (for full complaint details please see the complaints and suggestions section).
Payment for your order will be taken immediately.
If you make an online payment to us your payment will be processed on our behalf by Paypal Ltd who will collect and store your personal and credit card details in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988
All deliveries are made from the Capital of London factory in the United Kingdom.
All U.K. orders are posted via courier and require a signature on delivery. You will receive a confirmation email on the day your order is dispatched please allow 48 hours from this for delivery. All delivered orders are subject to the courier's terms and conditions.

Pre printed stationery
Refund Policy: - If for any reason you are dissatisfied with product from our stock range (i.e. excluding bespoke products) purchased through the website from Capital of London, we will give you a full refund provided that the goods are returned to us, in good condition in their full packaging within 30 days of the date of purchase accompanied with a receipt. You will receive acknowledgement of your notification within three working days. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty goods: - Only when faulty items are returned to us will we be able to credit the cost and VAT of faulty stock goods.
Where the transaction has been made using a credit card, the refund will be made to the same credit card within fourteen days of notification. We can only make a refund by cheque where the original item was paid for by cheque this does not affect you statutory rights.
Payment for all orders will be taken at the time of purchase.

If you make an online payment to us your payment will be processed on our behalf by Paypal Ltd who will collect and store your personal and credit card details in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988.
All offers are subject to availability. Prices shown are correct at the time of publication. Prices shown in the GBP (£) include 20% VAT. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

All deliveries are made from the Capital of London factory in the United Kingdom.

Delivery: - Dispatch of pre-printed items bought on the website is usually within 5 working days.

All U.K. orders of ready-to-write stationery are posted via royal mail and will require a signature upon delivery.

Pre-printed items are dispatched in padded jiffy bags and each bag can hold up to 6 packs of stationery. Each bag that we deliver will cost £5.00 Inclusive of Vat to deliver.
You will receive a confirmation email on the day your order is dispatched please although you should expect you package to reach you within 48 hours, please allow 14 days before notifying us that it has gone missing.
